I am a Professor and Head of Department of Neurosciences at Nepal Mediciti, Lalitpur, Nepal. Before joining this institute, I was a Professor and Coordinator of M Ch program (Neurosurgery) at the Department of Neurosurgery, National Academy of Medical Sciences (NAMS), Bir Hospital. I graduated in medicine and surgery from the Institute of Medicine (IOM), TUTH, Kathmandu, Nepal in 1990. After completing the Neurosurgical Residency program, I was awarded a Master's Degree (MS) in Neurosurgery by Karachi University, Pakistan in 2000. I then did a fellowship in neurovascular surgery from Kurume University, Japan in 2010, and completed Neurovascular training at the Department of Neurosurgery, Helsinki University, Finland in 2013. In 2014, I was awarded a Fellowship (FICS) in Neurosurgery by the International College of Surgeons, USA.
