am a Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Patan Academy of Health Sciences in Patan, Lalitpur, Nepal. I served in this role from May 2010 to November 2013. Prior to that, I was the Chief of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Patan Hospital from January 2001 to November 2013. completed my M.B.B.S. from All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi, India in 1981. Later, I completed my D.G.O. from the Institute of Medicine, Tribhuvan University, Kathmandu, Nepal in 1987. Additionally, I received a certification as a Fellow of the Royal Thai College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists from the Sriraj Hospital, Mahidol University, Bangkok, Thailand in 2002. I also completed various trainings in different areas such as advanced life support in obstetrics, surgical management of urinary fistulae, clinical training skills for reproductive health professionals, advanced laparoscopic training, and more.
