I am a Senior Consultant Hepatologist at Norvic International Hospital, where I have been working since 2004. I am also the President of Nepalese Association for study of Liver, and a Professor at National Academy of Medical Sciences, Kathmandu, Nepal. I have previously served as an Associate Professor, Assistant Professor, and Registrar at various medical institutions. Additionally, I have worked as an Editor and Executive Editor at Journal of Nepal Medical Association. I hold a PHD in Hepatology from Graduate School of Medicine Chiba University, and a MBBS from Sher-E-Bangla Medical College Dhaka University. I have received several awards and recognitions, including the TRAVEL GRANT AWARD from APASL in 2012 and 2016, NAST Science and Technology Promotion Award in 2010, and Mahendra Vidya Bhushan in 2005.
