I am Dr. Rabindra L Pradhan, a Consultant Orthopaedic Spine Surgeon at Mediciti Hospital. I completed my MBBS in 1991 and my postgraduate studies PhD in 2001, from Akita University, Japan. I have been working at the Department since its inception in 2001 and have expanded modern spine surgery at KMCTH after finishing my fellowships in spine surgery at various reputed international institutes. I am one of the few Spine surgeons in Nepal who is Asia Pacific regional faculty of AOSpine and currently the country leader of the largest spine group in the world. I have a keen interest in expanding spine services all over Nepal and have been the chairman of various seminars and hands-on workshops. I am also actively involved in Orthopaedic research and teaching and am a faculty for the AO PEER course program in the Asia Pacific region.
